Growing up to be an extremely skilled scientist, Andross began to experiment in Corneria with powerful weapons. After a disastrous accident destroyed a populated city, General Pepper banished Andross to the far-off planet of Venom. Proclaiming himself Emperor Andross, he declared war on the Lylat System in revenge for his exile. In Smash, he appears as an Assist Trophy, firing polygons from the background.
