#144, #145, & #146 in the National Pokédex, Articuno, Zapdos, & Moltres are the three Legendary Birds of Kanto. They are the Freeze, an Electric, and a Flame Pokémon respectively. They are all dual-type Pokémon, having their respective element and Flying typings. They are said to control the weather in the Kanto region. Moltres alone is able to appear from Poké Balls in Smash, not moving but dealing massive damage to anyone who makes contact.
