The Chozo built these artifices of themselves to guard their most treasured artifacts and artillery. They offer upgrades to Samus, albeit not always for free. Some, called Torizo, will stand up and test her combat abilities! If she enters their hands in the Morph Ball, Samus will be healed and guided to her next objective.
