Before the World Warrior tournament, Interpol officer Chun-Li was investigating the death of her father. Teaming up with Charlie Nash of the U.S. Air Force, she managed to track down his killer: M. Bison, head of the Shadaloo crime syndicate. However, she was unable to defeat Bison, beaten by his Psycho Power abilities. Reporting back to Interpol, she swore to take down Bison and get vengeance for her father.
