After Link chases the Skull Kid into Termina, the forest spirit changes the young Hero of Time from his Hylian self into this woodland form. Even once he turns back, Link can assume this form at will with the Deku Mask. As a Deku Scrub, Link can hop across water, glide using Deku Flowers, and blast magic bubbles from his mouth. His instrument of choice in this form is not his trusty Ocarina of Time, but rather the Deku Pipes.
