The Legendary Air Ride Machine itself, the only way to obtain a Dragoon in Kirby Air Ride is to collect all three individual parts. You have to do the same in Smash, with the parts appearing as items. Grabbing all three will allow fighters to launch into their opponents at high speeds, nearly guaranteeing a knockout. However, parts can be dropped if you take enough damage, so grab ‘em quick!
