A smaller aircraft built for exploration and stealth, the Gyrowing has very little combat ability. Instead, it’s main purpose comes in its ability to deploy Direct-i, a robot attached by a tether used to hack into enemy computers or sneak into smaller spaces. To make up for the Gyrowing’s lack of power, Direct-i is able to use the environment to its advantage, picking up enemy bombs for the Gyrowing to drop on foes.
