#490 in the National Pokédex, Manaphy is the Seafaring Pokémon, being born at the bottom of the ocean. It is a Water-type, with its body being 80% water, making it easily affected by its environment. Manaphy is unique in its ability to bond with any other Pokémon. It appears on the Kalos Pokémon League stage, creating a whirlpool on the central platform that pulls fighters to a watery K.O.
