#151 in the National Pokédex and the final Kantonian Pokémon, the Psychic-type Mew is the New Species Pokémon, given its recent discovery only 20 years ago. Before then, it was thought to be nothing more than legend by most. With its DNA containing genetic code from every Pokémon, it is able to use all kinds of moves, and is thought to be the ancestor of all other Pokémon. It appears from Poké Balls in Smash, although it has no effect.
