#501 in the National Pokédex, Oshawott is the Sea Otter Pokémon; the representative for the Water-type amongst the three starters of the Unova Region. The scalchop on its belly can be used to slash at enemies or open berries, but it does neither in Smash. Instead, when summoned from a Poké Ball, Oshawott will use Surf, catching enemies in the tide and dragging them offstage.
