#16 in the National Pokédex, Pidgey is a Tiny Bird Pokémon, one of the most common Pokémon in the Kanto region. It’s a Normal/Flying dual-type. Pidgey’s main method of attack is mainly for self-defense, kicking up sand by flying close to the ground. However, this is also used to drive out insect prey. Native to forested areas, Pidgey has a strong sense of direction, being able to return to its nest no matter how far from home it is.
