The Prince of Patch Land, Kirby first met Prince Fluff when he was sucked into Patch Land by the evil sorcerer, Yin-Yarn, who had stolen the Magic Yarn that stitches Patch Land together. Kirby promises to help Fluff save Patch Land, defeating Yin-Yarn’s guardians. They then learn that the sorcerer had transformed Dream Land into yarn, and Prince Fluff returns the favor. After both lands return to normal, Prince Fluff returns home, allowing Kirby to visit whenever he likes.
