Is that... Paper Peach!? Not quite. She’s been possessed by the Shadow Queen, an ancient, primordial evil sealed behind the Thousand-Year Door in the Palace of Shadow. She planned to use the Crystal Stars to create a new world in her image, using Peach as a vessel for her essence. In the end, she was defeated by Paper Mario’s party and the goodwill of those they’d helped all over the world.
