#7 in the National Pokédex, Squirtle is the Tiny Turtle Pokémon, and one of the very first starters given by Professor Oak in Kanto. It uses its shell for shelter, allowing it to be immune to danger while sliding around. Its main ability comes in spewing water at foes, pushing them around without doing damage. Naturally, it’s a Water-type. It is the first of three Pokémon wielded by the Pokémon Trainer in Smash.
