#120 in the National Pokédex, Staryu is a Star Shape Pokémon, found in large numbers at seashores, making it a Water-type. It has a glowing red core that flashes at night. As long as this center section is unharmed, it can grow back any severed limb. According to legend, they are the result of stardust falling into the sea. Staryu can appear from Poké Balls in Smash, attacking opponents with Swift, firing star-shaped projectiles.
