#175 in the National Pokédex, Togepi is the Spike Ball Pokémon, living inside its spiked shell. It is able to store positive emotions inside that shell, sharing them with kindhearted individuals. Due to its connection with emotions, it is classified as a Fairy-type. Togepi has a chance to appear from Poké Balls in Smash, using Metronome, a move which causes various status effects to enemy fighters.
