#201 in the National Pokédex, Unown are the Symbol Pokémon, and carry a Psychic-type. This is just one, but there are 27 other forms of Unown, together resembling an ancient form of writing. Archeologists today are still unsure which came first: the writing or the Unown. Unown live in their own dimension, rarely venturing into our reality. When doing so, however, they are often found stuck to the walls of ruins like hieroglyphs.
