#3 in the National Pokédex, Venusaur is a Seed Pokémon, evolving from Ivysaur as the final form of Bulbasaur. It is a Grass/Poison dual-type. The flower on its back is how it absorbs sunlight, causing the flower to release a soothing aroma that attracts other Pokémon. It can use this solar energy for nutrition, or unleash it into a powerful Solar Beam. It appears on the Saffron City stage, attacking fighters with Razor Leaf.
