Unlike the aggressive River Zora, these merfolk are friendly to Link and the Kingdom of Hyrule, guarding over the source of the kingdom’s water, Zora’s Fountain. They also keep the Spiritual Stone of Water, the Zora’s Sapphire, which Link receives from Princess Ruto for saving her from Inside Jabu-Jabu’s Belly.
